Pavers & Masonry
Patios, walls, and walkways in stone, engineered to last.
Hardscape is the backbone of a great outdoor space. We install paver patios, walkways, driveways, seat walls, retaining walls, and stone features, all built on a proper base so they stay level and last.
As a licensed masonry contractor, we handle structural stonework and finish details with the same crew, so it looks intentional and holds up.

Pavers & Masonry Built for the Las Vegas Desert
Concrete and pavers take a beating in the Las Vegas Valley, just not from freeze-thaw like colder climates. Here it's heat expansion, rocky and expansive desert soil, and monsoon downpours that can flood a poorly graded patio in minutes. Hardscape that isn't built on a properly compacted base will crack, shift, or pool water within a year or two, and by then it's a bigger fix than it should have been.
We hold a Nevada Masonry C-18 license and a Landscape C-10 license, so paver patios, walkways, seat walls, and masonry features are built to code from the base up, not just laid on grade and hoped for the best. We plan drainage into every hardscape project before we set a single paver, because the monsoon season doesn't care how good a patio looks if the water has nowhere to go.

How It Works
From first call to final walkthrough
Layout & Drainage Planning
We map the layout and plan drainage slope so monsoon rain moves away from your home instead of pooling on the patio.
Excavation & Base Compaction
Proper excavation and a compacted base layer are what keep pavers and masonry from shifting or cracking in this soil.
Paver or Masonry Installation
Our licensed crew sets pavers or builds masonry features to spec, with clean lines and tight joints throughout.
Sealing & Finish Detail
We finish with sealing where appropriate and detail work so the hardscape looks sharp and holds up to daily use.
What we build
Patios & walkways
Pavers and natural stone laid over a compacted, engineered base.
Walls & retaining
Seat walls, planter walls, and structural retaining walls done right.
Licensed masonry
Masonry C-18 licensed, so the stonework is built to code and to last.
Questions
Pavers & Masonry FAQs
Do pavers crack in Las Vegas heat?
Pavers themselves handle heat expansion well since they're segmented, unlike a single concrete slab. Cracking issues usually trace back to a poor base, not the heat itself, which is why base compaction matters so much here.
How do you handle monsoon drainage under a paver patio?
We grade the base and surface to move water away from the home and toward proper drainage points before any pavers go down, so a monsoon downpour doesn't turn your patio into a puddle.
What's the difference between pavers and poured concrete for a Vegas patio?
Pavers handle desert soil movement and heat expansion better since individual units can shift slightly without cracking, and damaged pavers can be replaced individually. Poured concrete is more prone to visible cracking as the desert soil beneath it shifts.
Does a paver patio need HOA approval?
Many Las Vegas Valley HOAs require approval for hardscape changes, especially anything visible from the street or affecting drainage onto common areas. We can help prepare plans that fit typical HOA submission requirements.
